moreover, you can do kayaking and snorkeling to koh phee, koh kharm or koh rayang nok adjacent to kohmak.

one important and interesting activity that has been running over the years on koh mak is the coral planting project coopporated with Mahidol (International) university and locals. the aim for this activity is to enhance the beauty and to prolong the soul of marine life. we started the project around the island first and operate with an expectation to grow corals as many as we can in the future.

Things you should do when snorkeling :

wearing life jacketv all time. check all safety gear. life jacket should contain a whistle and have 2 lines stay between your legs.
stay in group while swimming or find a buddy to assist each other.

being on water surface and not get into a shallow area where you may ruin the coral.
do not drink or eat in the sea and do not put your garbage in the sea.

check up diving mask by trying it on. the mask should fit to your face, not too loose and not too fit.
